Sandra and Karen are middle-aged moms and career professionals who are now empty-nesting and late to chase their dreams of becoming comedians. They will cover topics ranging from reinventing oneself to leaving comfort zones, and will occasionally feature relevant guests who can share their experiences and perspectives. Highlights of their journey, with a focus on the absurd and humorous obstacles and accomplishments along their way, will drive the conversation.

Sandra Doss is a Philadelphia-based comedian who practices law while not slinging jokes. She has appeared at New York’s Gotham Club and at comedy events in Philadelphia, Delaware, and up and down the Jersey shore. Recently, she shared the virtual stage with Last Comic Standing’s Dat Phan. She has also performed online on L.A.’s Flappers Comedy Club “The Writers of Conan Presents” on Judy Carter’s May 2021 Comedian Showcase and Greg Dean’s 2022 comedy showcase. Sandra has also participated in Luke Lyndale’s virtual comedy shows out of Toronto and has been featured on Hot Breath! Pro and This Just In News Virtual Comedy Club.

Karen Schwarz is a Philadelphia comedian who found her passion for making people laugh last July. As she approaches the first anniversary of her new pursuit, she has had many amazing and fun experiences so far to be proud of, working shows for Soul Joel’s, Over The Wall Comedy, GrierFest, Frank Vignola, and more.
